Farah Tower

Given the exceptional location, the new Tower at Dasman Roundabout offers the rare opportunity to establish a vibrant residential neighborhood in Kuwait with a distinctive living experience mediating between the sea and the city. Esas Architect's initial concept for the tower focuses attention upon the site's unique and expansive views. In doing so, we have developed a design strategy that not only accommodates a multitude of unit types and orientations, but formally responds to the site conditions in such a way that every single unit enjoys views over both the city and sea. The resultant geometry of the planning strategy, while strategically based on optimized external sight lines and orientation, informs a gently faceted geometry throughout the body of the building. The resulting massing is intended to be both a subtle and idiosyncratic addition to the Kuwait skyline.
